It has been a fortnight.

Okay, so I know that a fortnight is 14 days and my last post was about 60 days ago. This does not change that fact that I like the title of this blog post. Being that 60 days have come on gone, I thought it might be a good time to update the goings on of Justin. Blogging during the commercials on Chuck requires me to comment on how awesome the show Chuck is. Aside from always being entertaining, it always has really good music including two of my favorite albums from this year: Frightened Rabbit and Bon Iver. Now that I've got that out of the way that takes me to visiting home in 11 days.
Going on almost a year I am excited to see how "The big O" has changed. Omaha being what Omaha is, I can't expect it has changed much. I look forward to that. You always hear "You can't go home again" and I hope that is not true. Mostly because I want to go home and drink saki bombs with all of my friends.
As far as Hawaii is concerned life has been pretty good. My job is going well, and we just had a Christmas party that included prime rib and an open bar at one of the nicest restaurants on the island. Needless to say I drank my weight in whiskey. In the next 2 months it seems our house will be pretty busy with tourists of the Nebraskan persuasion. Keith and Josh will be coming out in January, plus Tim's family (Including that douche bag Bob) will be coming out in February. I know there are alternative motives for Tim's family to be coming out here, but I will only recognize that it is to see the beach and to drink Mai Tais
Well, that is all I've got for now. I know my punctuation/ grammar sucks, but I don't give a shit.

Balls.

Justin wins both showcases at the showcase showdown.

Every time Tim and go to Costco we play a game called guess the total amount we spent today. I am the returning champion of this really stupid thing we do. Today, I rocked the foundation at Costco when I guessed the exact amount. To the penny I guessed it. I was abnormally excited about this, and even put the receipt on the fridge as a monument to my "Price is right-ing" ability. I promptly forgot about this until I got home from work, saw the receipt and then got really sad about how lame I am.

Your blog at: http://repercussionsofamusement.blogspot.com/ has been identified as a potential spam blog.

Today I received an email announcing that the masters of the interwebs think my blog is possibly spam. There are two plausible causes. 1- My first ever post had the word "porn" in the title. 2- (This is the most likely cause) Someone thought my blog rocked too hard for them and they reported it out of their deep seeded fear of head explosions from reading it.

Today I didnt even have to use my A.K. I got to say it was a good day.

Today was one of my few days off of late. I have been working 6 days a week for a couple months now, and usually my days off are filled with homework. Not today. In the morning we dropped off Tim's jeep for repair (finally) and then I went out in search of surf. I went to a hotel beach which I had never been to before and attempted to surf for an hour or so. The waves were like a foot or 2 which on a short board means that I have to paddle about as fast as my arms will go (I am confident they look like hummingbird wings when I do this) so I didn't catch much. I eventually left this beach in search of the perfect wave. I drove around for about an hour and did not find anything. When arriving home, I began to drink some Sam Adams Oktoberfest and watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall which I received in the mail today along with Kurt Vonnegut's Mother Night. It was like Christmas for my pants. I know that didn't make sense. Then, completely sober Tim and I offroaded in a jeep liberty which he got as a courtesy vehicle on the coast. It is a pretty nice stretch of coast even though no one takes care of it. There is trash all over the place and abandoned vehicles, it is kind of sad. There is also a coast guard watch tower, and in order to do our part in the clean up I tied a tv we found around my waist. Then, I scaled the tower and we threw the tv at the ground so it would explode (read: esplode). Following watching the sunset over a demolished tv, I passed out for like 3 hours. I feel like I haven't really gotten out in awhile to do anything worth while so even though today was kind of a bust it was really nice to feel the sunshine.

The posts cannot be stopped.

5 minutes since my previous post, I still have not come to terms with this. One thing I realized is that my original template was gayer than several bags of dicks. Second, the blog does not realize I am in Hawaii, thus makes it seem like I am making blog posts drunken in the middle of the night. In reality I am making drunken posts at a reasonable hour.
Nothing too exciting is happening right now, that is probably why I am on here. I am a little excited to come home for Christmas since I haven't seen most of my friends in a year, nor drank sake (This excludes when Tim and I drank sake in China town in Australia. This is excluded because that sake caused me to forget chunks of the night which included drinking 40's out of paper bags on a main street and getting rejected by hoards of Australian women...). So, needless to say I miss 5 dollar pizzas at Kona.

Where did I go wrong.

This is my first attempt at a blog. So here is my blogging constitution. By blogging constitution, I mean it will be nothing like a constitution. Just a list of things I feel like writing this moment.
1. This blog will be sparsely updated.
2. How did I never listen to Ryan Adams before like now.
3. I named this blog repercussions of amusement because they are two of the biggest words I know.
